Former Kaduna State governor, Nasir el-Rufai, has arrived at the state high court in Kaduna.
He is expected to move to the federal high court in Kaduna later for the hearing of his bail application.
El-Rufai appeared at the court on Tuesday after being released from the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to attend his mother’s burial.
On March 24, the court had adjourned his bail hearing to March 31, after he was arraigned on charges related to fraud and money laundering.
El-Rufai was freed on March 27 on compassionate grounds.
Hajiya Umma, el-Rufai’s mother, passed away in Egypt on Friday while receiving medical treatment.
She was laid to rest on Sunday.
