VIDEO: ‘I Made Mistake Not Supporting Tinubu Earlier’ – Cubana Chief Priest

Popular socialite and businessman, Cubana Chief Priest, has admitted that not supporting Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the last general election was a mistake. He revealed that he is now taking a new political approach focused on working with the federal government.

Speaking at a political event in Imo State, the entrepreneur said the gathering was the result of weeks of planning. He added that it showed the growing unity and support for the current administration.

He explained that years of opposing the government had not produced results, which led him to rethink his strategy.

“We have decided to partner with the government at the center. We are not ready to fight. We tried fighting and it didn’t work for us,” he said.

Chief Priest also praised Hope Uzodimma, the governor of Imo State, for keeping a strong relationship with the federal government, noting that this cooperation has helped bring development to the state.

He further commended Seyi Tinubu, calling him a unifying figure who is helping strengthen ties across different ethnic and regional groups.

Looking back at the last election, Chief Priest admitted that opposing Tinubu was a political error.

“Politics is a game…we don’t want to lose again and we will never waste our votes again,” he said.

He added that the growing support for the president could turn into one of the biggest political movements in the country, promising stronger mobilisation ahead of upcoming elections.

Chief Priest ended by praying for Tinubu’s success in office and urged Nigerians to embrace unity, cooperation, and partnership as the nation moves forward.
