The management of Prime Care Hospitals has denied claims that influencer King Mitchy died in their Abuja facility.
On Instagram, the hospital said the reports were false, explaining that Mitchy was never admitted and did not pass away there.
They added that they are working with authorities to trace the source of the false news and will take legal action against those spreading it. The hospital urged the public to confirm news through official channels before sharing.
“The management of Prime Care Hospitals wishes to inform the public that the announcement of the alleged death of Miss Mukoro Mitchelle, popularly known as King Mitchy, at our Abuja facility is FALSE. King Mitchy was never a patient in our hospital and did not pass away here. We are working with authorities to investigate the source of this misinformation and will take all necessary legal actions against those responsible. Please verify information through our official channels before sharing,” the statement read.
Mitchy’s management had earlier announced her death, saying medical efforts at Prime Care Hospital, Abuja, were unsuccessful. They described her as more than just talent, highlighting that she had a family and was full of life, light, and dreams.
Her death followed her drinking hypo, after facing online backlash and bullying over her dispute with activist Very Dark Man, who claimed Mitchy had “licked Seyi Tinubu’s lollipop for money.”
