A protest group has openly criticized President Bola Tinubu over the rising insecurity in Nigeria, using a viral video where they sang a mocking song accusing his government of violence and bloodshed.
In the video, the protesters were seen holding a banner with bold words that read: “Nigeria is bleeding, Jos is bleeding, Kwara is bleeding, Benue is bleeding.”
The group also used a protest song directed at Tinubu’s administration. In the chant, they sang: “Your mandate dey terrorize, on your mandate them go kpai, your mandate dey suck blood.”
They repeatedly echoed the line “On your mandate dem go kpai,” as they sang and moved with energy during the protest.
The demonstration comes at a time of growing anger across the country over repeated killings and attacks in different states by terrorists and armed groups, which many Nigerians link to the current security situation under the Tinubu-led administration.
