Rabi’u Kwankwaso, a chieftain of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), has pushed back hard at claims he’s secretly working for President Bola Tinubu.
Speaking on Global Television on Wednesday, Kwankwaso said only foolish people would say that.
Recall that Sanusi Bature, spokesman for Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf, accused Kwankwaso of working behind the scenes for Tinubu’s re-election. Kwankwaso was having none of it.
Reacting, Kwankwaso said, “I think only foolish people would believe that.
“They have been saying it, especially when we are in the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP. Now, they will realize we are very serious people.
“I’m not conversant with anybody working for anyone. We are working for the NDC and our blueprint is there for everybody to see.
“They are things like what we intend to do, ranging from tackling the insecurity to the issue of education among others.”
