Socialite Cubana Chief Priest has announced that he plans to work against Peter Obi in the 2027 presidential election.
He revealed this during a chat with his followers on Instagram, confirming his position when asked directly.
One user asked him, “So in simple terms, You are working against Obi in the upcoming presidential election. lol.”
Cubana Chief Priest, who previously served as a special adviser to an APC governor, referred to his earlier involvement with Obi’s campaign as part of his reason for opposing him now.
Replying to the comment, he wrote, “yes oh hope say no be crime cuz I worked for Obi last election even as special adviser to an APC governor.”
His statement drew reactions from followers, including one who mentioned his past encounter with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
In response, Cubana Chief Priest downplayed the concern, saying, “if you never go EFCC for naija you never make am.”
The conversation later touched on Biafra and political backing from the South-East. Chief Priest told a user to support whichever candidate they like.
He also stressed the importance of development in the South-East, questioning what the user has contributed to the region.
He wrote, “Go and support who you want to support as you like Biafra reach how many developments you don do for south East.”
