TRANSFER: Barcelona Makes Final Decision on Rashford’s Future With the Club

Barcelona have decided not to sign Marcus Rashford permanently from Manchester United this summer, according to Marca.

Rashford spent last season on loan at the LaLiga champions, scoring 14 goals and providing 14 assists in 49 matches.

Barcelona finished eight points ahead of Real Madrid to win La Liga for the second year in a row. The club had the option to make Rashford’s move permanent for €30 million (£25.8m) this summer.

But his future at Camp Nou became uncertain after Barcelona signed Anthony Gordon in an €80m (£69.3m) deal from Newcastle United last month.

On Wednesday, Marca reported that Barcelona have now chosen not to activate their option to buy Rashford before it expires on June 15.
