Afrobeats singer Asake was caught in a viral video struggling to reach and touch the Black Stone during his pilgrimage in Mecca.
In the video making rounds online, the singer, whose real name is Ololade Ahmed, was lifted by people around him in an attempt to get close to the sacred stone fixed in the Kaaba.
The effort, however, looked challenging because of the huge crowd of pilgrims gathered near the Kaaba, with many worshippers also trying to approach the holy site.
The clip showed Asake surrounded by thousands of worshippers performing prayers and other religious rituals at the Grand Mosque.

He is currently in Mecca, one of Islam’s most sacred cities, where thousands of Muslims gather during Ramadan for prayers and spiritual reflection.
Amid the crowd, the singer wore a white robe similar to the ones many pilgrims wear when visiting the holy sites.
Earlier, Asake shared a video on his social media showing himself offering prayers at Raudhatul Jannah, a highly revered prayer spot inside Masjid an-Nabawi.
