BREAKING: Court Orders Arrest of Factional PDP Chair, Turaki

A High Court in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has ordered the arrest of Kabiru Turaki, the factional national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The order was issued by Justice U.P. Kekemeke after Turaki failed to appear in court over a case brought by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP).

The judge noted that Turaki had no valid reason for not showing up in court.

The IGP had charged Turaki on one count, accusing him of giving false information to the police in a petition filed in October 2022.
