FULL LIST: Wizkid, Ayra Starr, Niko Omilana Win at 2026 MOBO Awards

Nigerian music stars Wizkid and Ayra Starr, together with British-Nigerian media figure Niko Omilana, were among the big winners at the 2026 MOBO Awards in Manchester, United Kingdom.

Wizkid took home the Best African Music Act award, beating other top Nigerians including Davido, Rema, Shallipopi, Tiwa Savage, and Adekunle Gold.

Ayra Starr won the Best International Act award, edging out global stars such as Cardi B, Gunna, and Kehlani.

In the media category, Niko Omilana was named Best Media Personality, defeating competitors like Bemi Orojuogun (popularly known as Bus Aunty) and DJ Remi Burgz.

Other Nigerians also featured among the nominees. German-Nigerian singer Odeal was up for Best Male Act and Best R&B/Soul Act.

British actors of Nigerian heritage, including Wunmi Mosaku, Damson Idris, Dayo Koleosho, and Cynthia Erivo, were nominated for Best Performance in a TV Show/Film.

The 2026 edition of the MOBO Awards, the first time it was held in Manchester, celebrated Black music and culture, honouring several international stars throughout the night.
