The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the first batch of results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The exam body announced on Friday night that candidates who sat for the exam on Thursday, April 16, can now check their scores.
According to JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin, in a statement posted on X, candidates are currently only able to view their scores. He added that the option to print result slips will be made available later.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to check your UTME results:
Step 1: Send a Message to 55019
Using the phone number linked to your JAMB registration, send UTMERESULT to 55019. Make sure you have at least ₦50 airtime.
Step 2: Receive and View Your JAMB Score
At the moment, that is the only method available, as printing of result slips is not yet active. JAMB says that feature will be enabled later.
