Social media activist VeryDarkMan and his supporters gathered at a Nigerian Air Force base in Abuja, calling on security agencies to step up efforts against kidnappers and bandits as concerns over insecurity continue to grow in parts of the country.
The visit came shortly after the activist returned to Nigeria following several days abroad.
Speaking at the military facility, VeryDarkMan questioned the country’s response to criminal activities. He argued that more resources and attention should be focused on tackling armed groups linked to kidnappings and attacks on communities.
In a viral video, the activist and his supporters were seen seated in front of the facility, demanding urgent action against bandits operating across the country.
He said in part:
“Nigeria Air Force, if you have bullets to shøot us, you should also have bullets to shøot kidn@ppers and båndits. Take your aircraft to the bush and shøot them.”
Reacting to the video, @ani49488 said: “Absolutely! VDM is who he thinks he is. Enough is enough. Tinibu must go!”
