Panic spread along Akala Express in Oluyole Local Government Area, Ibadan, on Thursday after residents found the lifeless body of a man by the roadside. The body was without its head.
Discovererngr reports that by 11:30 a.m., the corpse was still at the scene, drawing a crowd of shocked passersby and commercial motorcyclists.
The identity of the man and the circumstances of his death are still unknown.
As of press time, security operatives had not removed the body. Residents said it was left unattended for hours, raising fear and concern along the busy expressway.
Residents are calling on the Oyo State Government and security agencies to investigate the killing and remove the body to avoid possible health risks.
