Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has approved a N20,000 Eid-el-Kabir goodwill package for civil servants in the state.
The bonus covers workers on Grade Levels 01 to 14 across state ministries and all 44 local government areas. It will be paid shortly after the disbursement of May 2026 salaries.
The government says the move is meant to ease financial pressure on workers and help them prepare for the upcoming Eid celebrations amid current economic challenges. Officials add the initiative shows a commitment to workers’ welfare and to keeping the public service motivated.
Governor Yusuf also sent Eid greetings to civil servants and residents, wishing them peace, unity and prosperity.
