There is fresh drama in Nigeria’s music scene as singers Seyi Vibez and Adekunle Gold clash over comments linked to Gold’s new deluxe project, Fuji Xtra.
The issue started on Friday after Adekunle Gold released the song Life of the Faaji, where he sang, “They love my fuji, this no be Fuji Moto.”
The line quickly got people talking online, with many fans believing it was aimed at Seyi Vibez’s 2025 project, Fuji Moto. The comment also fueled fresh comparisons between both singers.
Reacting on X, Seyi Vibez did not hold back as he blasted Adekunle Gold, writing, “Adekunle Gold you’re wack. And your swag is wack. Old fool!”
He later added, “Adekunle panda Egbon ofo! Egbon ya.”
The rivalry between both artistes has been building for a while. In 2025, Adekunle Gold released Fuji, a project that mixed Fuji sounds with Afrobeats and pop music. Shortly after, Seyi Vibez dropped Fuji Moto, which also carried Fuji-inspired street-pop vibes, leading fans to compare both albums heavily.
