Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile and his longtime partner, Davita, have officially tied the knot. Reports say the pair were married in December 2025 in a low-key private court ceremony, surrounded by family and close friends.
The couple haven’t confirmed the news themselves, but the wedding decorator shared a clip of the decorations. A post on Twitter read: “Zlatan Ibile got married and kept it lowkey. This was the inside of the private civil wedding ceremony venue of Zlatan Ibile and his wife, Davita. Happy married life to them. ❤️”
The story follows several public clues. In March, family photos had fans drooling—one picture showed Zlatan and Davita in a cosy embrace, both flaunting wedding rings and fueling marriage rumours. Davita also added Zlatan’s last name, Omoniyi, to her Instagram handle and now appears as Davita Omoniyi.
Earlier this year a viral post claimed the singer had stated that Davita isn’t his wife but the mother of his kids. Zlatan jumped on Twitter to push back, calling out people who share unverified posts and insisting the story was fake, saying he isn’t one to explain himself on social media.
The couple reunited late last year to celebrate their second son’s first birthday—Zlatan called him “his little sunshine”—and in July Zlatan proudly cheered Davita at her Birmingham University graduation. In 2024 he famously surprised her for her 27th birthday with a new Mercedes Benz and designer gifts.
