Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen has stepped into one of football’s hottest debates—who stands taller between Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise, and also between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Yamal and Olise have both caught the eye this season with strong displays for their clubs, drawing praise from fans and pundits alike. Meanwhile, the long-running Messi vs Ronaldo argument still divides opinion, with both stars widely seen as two of the greatest to ever play the game.
Speaking during a quick-fire chat with Berneese, Osimhen was put on the spot to pick his favourites. But the Nigerian striker refused to take sides.
“That’s a tough one. Permit me to pick both,” Osimhen said of Yamal vs Olise.
“These guys are unique in their own craft. I think they are almost similar because they use the same foot.
“The way they read the game is different, so picking one is doing a huge disservice to the other. I will go for both.”
When it came to Messi and Ronaldo, Osimhen stuck to the same line, making it clear he wasn’t about to separate the two legends.
“It’s the same thing with Messi and Ronaldo. I go for both. I have never chosen any of them individually.
“Those two guys have been up there for almost 20 years.”
