Sarz Opens Up on What Producers, Artists Should Avoid to Grow in Music Industry

Nigerian music producer Osabuohien Osaretin, better known as Sarz, has opened up about how ego once affected both his career and his relationship with colleagues.

Speaking in an interview with The Fadar, Sarz admitted he used to be hot-headed and full of ego. He said he often assumed he was bigger and better than many people around him.

According to him, that mindset made it difficult to work with others and learn from fellow creatives in the industry.

“When I started making music, I was very hot-headed. I really wanted to impress everybody. I just thought I was the best thing to exist in music. But now I understand that I don’t know it all. I’m always willing to learn from anyone—even someone that just started yesterday,” he said.
