Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, has quit the African Democratic Congress (ADC), accusing the party of manipulating its recently concluded primaries in favour of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and his allies.
In a statement released on Monday, Lawal said the exercise was “massively rigged,” alleging that the process was tilted to guarantee the emergence of Atiku and those aligned with him.
