At a Rose Garden luncheon on Monday, President Donald Trump publicly praised rapper Nicki Minaj, calling her “so hot” as he welcomed her to the White House.
The remark—made during an introduction—has drawn attention online after clips from the ceremony circulated across social media. Speaking before guests, Trump said: “We also have a woman that is respected and so hot. She is such a great friend, a fantastic person, a woman that is respected by everybody, and she’s got real talent; we have Nicki Minaj.”
Minaj later posted photos from the gathering on X, seeming to enjoy the moment. She wrote: “Whoa! #WhiteHouseBarbie with her favorite President of all time!”
This appearance highlights Minaj’s growing public association with Trump. Earlier this year she attended the Trump Accounts Summit in Washington, where she openly backed the president. During the event, she described herself as “probably the president’s number one fan,” adding that criticism of her political stance would not influence her views.
