President Bola Tinubu has again promised Nigerians that he will keep every commitment made to them and never betray their trust.
Speaking on Thursday through Senate President Godswill Akpabio at the inauguration of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement executives, Tinubu said his administration’s Renewed Hope reforms would bring lasting prosperity to the country.
“My administration remains committed to building a stronger nation in spite of the difficult decisions taken since assuming office,” he said.
Addressing supporters, political leaders, traditional rulers, civil society organisations and other stakeholders, the President praised Nigerians for willingly supporting efforts aimed at national development. He said their involvement showed growing commitment to Nigeria’s future through patriotism and shared responsibility.
“I assure Nigerians of unwavering dedication to our mandate.
“This administration will remain committed to fulfilling its vision of building a better nation for present and future generations alike.
“I urge members of the movement to sustain grassroots mobilisation by taking government messages directly to communities, as continuous engagement remains essential for strengthening democracy and public participation nationwide,” he said.
Tinubu said election victories begin with strong grassroots engagement. He urged supporters to campaign respectfully, explain government policies to citizens and encourage wider participation in democracy. He admitted the reforms had required sacrifices but insisted they were necessary for lasting economic growth and prosperity.
“Patriotism and resilience remain essential qualities required to overcome temporary hardships while building a stronger, prosperous and united Nigeria.
“Reforms are designed to establish enduring foundations for future generations, and meaningful national progress rarely emerged without sacrifice, resilience and commitment to long-term developmental objectives and stability,” he added.
The President said good governance depends on cooperation between the executive, legislature and citizens. He warned against allowing politics to weaken national unity and urged Nigerians to spread hope, respect and democratic values in every interaction.
Tinubu also praised High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, and members of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement for launching the nationwide campaign. He said reforms introduced over the past three years were already placing Nigeria on the path to sustained economic growth and expressed confidence that better days were ahead.
Earlier, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited Managing Director Kestin Pondi said the inauguration marked the start of a nationwide mobilisation campaign backing Tinubu’s vision. He thanked guests and organisers for supporting the event, described Tinubu as a courageous leader and said, “I urge citizens supporting a prosperous, united and progressive country to remain committed to the administration.
“This inauguration marks the beginning of broader mobilisation efforts.
“I am confident that sustained grassroots engagement and constructive citizen participation will guarantee successful implementation of the movement’s objectives,” Pondi added.
He urged members and supporters to remain peaceful, disciplined and focused while promoting national unity and supporting Nigeria’s growth, development and democratic progress through collective action.
