A teacher has been accused of sexually abusing four young sisters at a private school in Kano State, Nigeria.
The incident allegedly took place at Al-Hadeed Private School in Inusawa, Ungogo Local Government Area. The accused, identified only as “Uncle Kamal,” was arraigned on Monday before Senior Magistrate Court No. 27, No-Man’s-Land, Kano.
Barrister Badamasi Suleiman, who confirmed the case in a Facebook post on May 18, 2026, said the victims are sisters: Hasana, Hussaina, and Gambo (all aged 7), and their 5-year-old sibling.
According to the lawyer, the children’s mother became suspicious after noticing that one of the girls was unable to control her bowels. When questioned, all four children reportedly disclosed that their teacher had been abusing them.
Medical examinations later confirmed that all four minors had been sexually abused, the lawyer stated.
Following an investigation and the collection of evidence, the teacher was brought before the court. He was remanded in a correctional facility, with the case adjourned to June 9, 2026, for further hearing.
