VIDEO: Moment NDLEA Sniffer Dog Finds Hidden Hard Drugs in Lagos Car

A sniffer dog deployed by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has helped uncover suspected hard drugs hidden inside a vehicle during a search operation in Lagos, underlining the growing role of the agency’s canine unit in tackling drug trafficking.

A video making the rounds online shows an NDLEA operative leading a trained detection dog around a parked vehicle during what appeared to be a routine search. The dog later alerted officers to a suspicious section near the car’s boot, leading to a closer inspection.

The search reportedly uncovered illicit substances concealed inside the vehicle, while a suspect was arrested. However, authorities have not disclosed the type or quantity of drugs recovered.

Details of the operation remain unclear, as the NDLEA has yet to release an official statement on the incident or reveal the identity of the suspect.

The development has nonetheless drawn attention to the effectiveness of the agency’s canine unit, which has become an important part of anti-narcotics operations across the country.
