Popular TikTok star Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, says he has completed the traditional marriage rites for his partner, Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, by paying her bride price during their family introduction ceremony.
The news came through a video shared on Peller’s Instagram page on Sunday. The clip showed the couple dressed in traditional attire as both families gathered for the occasion.
Peller wore a white shirt with a George wrapper and coral beads, while Jarvis appeared in a red wrapper, matching coral accessories, and a beaded crown.
Sharing the video, Peller wrote: “Today, I proudly paid the bride price of the woman I love.”
He described the ceremony as the start of a new chapter, adding: “A beautiful journey has officially begun. She said ‘yes’ to forever, and now it’s time to build our future together.”
Peller also thanked both families for their support and said he was “officially off the market.”
The couple became popular through their TikTok collaborations and livestreams. Their relationship has remained in the spotlight, with multiple engagements and emotional breakups.
The latest ceremony comes weeks after Peller proposed to Jarvis at a beachfront hotel in Accra, Ghana. The proposal went viral online. He had earlier proposed in 2024, but Jarvis initially described it as a promise ring before later confirming the relationship was heading toward marriage.
Their romance has also faced public challenges, including a widely reported emotional livestream after a breakup, followed by a brief reconciliation.
Despite the ups and downs, the family introduction ceremony appears to mark a formal step forward for the couple.
